The Slam Poet

Gail L. Palmer

Gail expresses herself with words – written, spoken, and performed. Sometimes she even captures them through the lens of her camera. Before moving back to the Lower 48, she held the title of Slam Champion (two years running) with the Alaska Writer’s Guild. Gail’s poetry has been published in Alaska Women’s Speak Quarterly and performed in North Carolina, Alaska, and most recently – New York City.

And Gail is happy. The secret to her happiness comes from playing by her own set of rules. Rule #7 is why she launched this blog. To hear all 10 catch a performance of The Only Way To Play or read Rules to a Happy Heart. Then join the conversation by answering her favorite question: What rule(s) do you play by?
